Roofing in Conway County
Valley houses and mountain slopes
Morrilton anchors Conway County in the Arkansas River valley, with older houses near downtown and newer streets spreading toward the highway. In Plumerville and Oppelo we find a small-town pace, and many yards back up to open fields. Petit Jean Mountain rises to the south, and homes on its wooded slopes sit under hardwood shade with steep walks we take up to the roof.
Getting to Conway County means a northwest run from Scott, through the Little Rock metro and on past Conway to Morrilton. Once we are there, the roofs range from valley houses that face open fields to shaded homes climbing Petit Jean, plus cottages in Plumerville and Oppelo. Charlie Landon, who served at Little Rock Air Force Base, still oversees our projects.
What we watch for
Roof concerns we see around Conway County
Wooded slopes on Petit Jean
Homes on the mountain sit among hardwoods, and limbs hang close to the ridge. We check for rub marks, small punctures, and piles of leaves that hold water against the shingles.
The Arkansas River valley
In the valley, houses look out over fields with little tree cover beside them. We study ridge pieces, starter courses, and flashing at gable ends, where that open setting shows up.
Plumerville and Oppelo streets
These towns mix early houses with later additions, so one roof may carry two ages of shingles. We follow the seams between old and new before we say what should be done.

As a fellow veteran. I was ecstatic about finding that Landon served in the Gulf war. He brought his structured skills from there to the roofing industry. He runs it right and is on the job quite a bit himself. We love our new roof and have had 0 problems with it. We salute you.
Questions
Conway County roofing FAQs
What is different about a roof on Petit Jean Mountain?
The mountain roads are steep and the lots are wooded, so debris and limb rub are common things we photograph. Shade keeps some slopes damp. We take our time on the walk, point out creases and thin spots, and separate storm marks from ordinary age so you can decide without a rush.
Do river-valley winds around Morrilton matter for shingles?
Lots in the river valley often have open ground around them, so loose edges are worth a close look. After a front moves across Central Arkansas, we look for unsealed tabs, bent flashing, and ridge caps that have shifted. A free roof inspection here is simply that look, plus a written note you can keep for your insurer.
Are Plumerville and Oppelo far enough that you still come?
They are close to our Morrilton stops, so yes. We head northwest from Scott to reach those towns along the river valley. You can expect a calm walkthrough and a straight explanation of wear, leaks, and any storm bruises we find.
